The safety and wellbeing of our customers will always be our number one priority. Before travelling we advise all of our customers to check FCO guidance before departing to a destination. If you have any queries about future trips with us, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Due to the Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, we’ve reviewed and updated our safety standards and booking conditions for the 2020/21 winter season and beyond.

Flexible Transport Options

We understand travelling by air may not suit everyone during these unfamiliar times, therefore, we offer our customers the option to self-drive to their destination or we can arrange coach travel to and from your chosen resort. Please be aware that for the 2020/21 winter season, Eurostar will not be providing a direct service from St Pancras to the Alps, however, there are still indirect train options.  

Single Occupancy

If you’re travelling as part of a group and would prefer to have your own room, rather than shared, a single supplement can be arranged for you; subject to availability. For extra large groups, we can arrange single occupancy accommodation with our suppliers for extra peace of mind.  

Financial Protection

We strive to provide 100% financial protection for your ski holiday, through a bond held by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) and ATOL. We are also members of ABTA, the leading association of travel agents and tour operators in the UK.  

Safety Guidelines

We are in constant contact with our suppliers and all of our properties are frequently audited and monitored to ensure they are compliant with our high health and safety standards. We also strongly advise that all of our customers regularly wash their hands and carry hand sanitiser with them at all times, as well as wear a face mask when on public transport.

What steps should I take to prepare for travel to and from my destination?

Current advice in the UK and across Europe is to wear face-coverings for all those travelling on public transport.

We would strongly recommend that you and the group you’re travelling with all have a good personal supply of face masks, hand sanitiser and antibacterial wipes to last the duration of your trip.

What social distancing measures will be implemented on my ski trip?

Social distancing measures vary considerably from country to country, however, in a majority of the European Alpine countries they have currently implemented a social distance of 1.5 metres. The advice and rules may change as the situation develops, therefore it’s best for us to discuss what social distancing measures may be in place nearer to your time of travel.

For the time being, please be aware that lessons, excursions, airports, restaurants, bars and attractions may have different rules in place. If you are travelling in a large group, we would advise to think about splitting up into subgroups when eating out and taking part in activities.

What support will I get from RocketSki when I am out in resort?

RocketSki has a 24/7 Duty Office which is there to give you support for the duration of your trip and to help you manage anything out of the ordinary, such as FCO guidance suddenly changing and recommending British nationals to return home. While we sincerely hope this is not necessary, please rest assured we have considerable experience of quickly and safely repatriating groups.
